How to Judge White Label Exchange Software

There is no honest ranked list — we sell one of these. What there is: six criteria that separate them, and how to test a vendor against each.

If you searched for the best white label exchange software, you will find lists. Most are written by vendors who put themselves first, or by affiliates paid per referral. We sell one of these platforms, so a ranking from us would be worth exactly as much.

What we can do is name the criteria that actually separate these products, and describe how to test each one — including on us. Every item below is something you can verify in a demo or in a contract, not something you have to take on trust.

Six things that actually differ

Feature lists barely differ between serious platforms. These do.

  • Delivery — do you get access, or the code?
  • Hosting — their infrastructure or yours, and who holds the keys
  • Cost shape — one-time, or recurring and scaling with your volume
  • Modules — which trading products are included, and which are upsells
  • Operations — is the admin panel finished, or a demo skin over gaps
  • Exit — what leaving costs you, in money and in downtime

How to test each one

Ask these in the demo. The answers, and the hesitation, are both informative.

  • "Show me the source of the matching engine." Watch what happens.
  • "Which of these modules costs extra?" Get it in writing before the contract.
  • "Walk me through a withdrawal approval as an operator would." Demo skins fall apart here.
  • "What happens to our users and balances if we leave in year three?"
  • "Has this been independently audited, and by whom?" A vague yes is a no.
  • "What is the total cost in year two?" Compare it to year one.

Where Javizen lands

Measured against the same six, including where the answer is not flattering.

  • Delivery — full source, no encryption, no obfuscation
  • Hosting — your infrastructure; we do not host it, which is more work for you
  • Cost — $24,900 one-time, no recurring licence
  • Modules — Futures, Options, P2P and Prop Trading all included
  • Operations — the admin panel is the product; ask us to walk it live
  • Exit — nothing to exit; you hold the code
  • Against us: no independent security audit, and we are a smaller team than the enterprise vendors
Ask the vendor

The six criteria as questions

Ask the vendorWhat a weak answer sounds like
Do we receive the source code?"You get full access to the platform" — access is not source
Where is it hosted?"We handle all the infrastructure for you" — then you do not hold the keys
What does year two cost?A number only for year one, or a percentage of volume
Which modules are extra?"We can discuss that in the proposal"
Can we see the admin panel?A slide deck, or a recorded video rather than a live session
What does leaving involve?"Nobody has ever left"
FAQ

Questions you might have

Why won't you just rank yourselves first?

Because you would discount it immediately, and you would be right to. The criteria are more useful than our opinion.

Is Javizen the best choice for everyone?

No. If you want someone else to host and operate the platform, a SaaS vendor is a better fit and we will say so on the call.

What is the weakest thing about Javizen?

No independent security audit, and we are smaller than the enterprise providers. Both are on the security page too.
